For Africa.
Three innovations from the Northern Cape: last-mile vaccine cold storage that runs on the sun, industrial heat recovery, and optical communications that survive the atmosphere.

- 3 Innovations
Three Problems.
One Vision.
Vaccine Cold Chain
Vaccines must stay between 2 °C and 8 °C from factory to patient. In clinics without reliable power, the chain breaks at the last mile and doses are lost before they reach the people who need them most.
Industrial Energy
Heavy industry depends on an unreliable, carbon-intensive grid, while large amounts of high-grade heat leave its stacks every day unused, under a sun that is among the strongest in the world.
Communications Barrier
Twisted-light (OAM) beams can carry many channels at once, but atmospheric turbulence scrambles them within about a kilometre. We call it the Wits Bottleneck, and it has kept the idea in the laboratory.
Three Innovations.
One Company.
Thermoka 2.2 Clinic Cooler
A solar-thermal absorption refrigerator that keeps vaccines at 2–8 °C in off-grid clinics, with no compressor.
How It Works Research · SimulationSPECTRA-SYNC
A dual-domain RF/optical free-space communications architecture that handles turbulence in software, not mirrors.
